The Railway Board issued one latest letter regarding Pay Commission Arrears
The letter No.PC-VI/96 RBE.NO.62/2009
NO.PC-VI/2009/I/RSRP/2 Pt.II DATED.02.04.2009
please refer sub-para(v) of para 3 of Board's letter no.PC-VI/2008/I/RSRP/1 dated.11.09.2008 (RBE NO.108/2008) wherein it was clarified that orders i reagrad to the payment of the second installment of arrears will be issued separately. In this regard, it is further clarified that the second installment of arrears should only be paid after specific orders in this regard are issued by the Ministry of Railways/ Railway Board.

The orders or letters are clearly showing that, there will be seperate order is issued for second installment of pay commission arears. At the time of approving the Sixth Pay Commssion also the Govt said the Second installment of Pay commission arrears will be given in next financial year i.e., April,2009 to March,2009. The Govt actuvally says in next towlve months at any time not in or before a particular date. But, we eagarly waiting for pay commission arears in the first month of financial year,2009 what a foollishthing?. I think the second installment of pay commission arrears should be paid in the third or last quarter of this financial year.
